The face behind Remi

Hello, my name is Aïsha De Grauwe. During my college studies I followed an evening course in Shoe design in Uccle. There I got to know leather. This was a whole new world that opened up for me. Leather is a very diverse and fascinating product. No sheet is the same, which means that every creation is different.

After studying SME management and Graphic Design, I was looking for a way to express my creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. From this search Rémi was born. My love for leather and entrepreneurship combined.

Remi stands for:

Our leather:

The leather used for our belts is vegetal tanned leather. This is made in a Tuscan tannery. Vegetal tanned leather is leather that is made with natural products. This is better for nature and people.

Vegetal tanned leather is leather that discolors even further after exposure to sun and friction. This belt changes with us, so to speak.

Nickel Free Buckles:

With our nickel-free buckles, you don't have to worry about allergies.

Handmade in Belgium:

All our belts are handmade in our workshop in Lede. The leather is carefully inspected, after which we get to work to create your unique belt. Each belt is custom made. When a belt is ordered, it is cut to size and finished. This way you always have the best fit.
